Source: classfmonline. com - Posters of Sylvester Mensah have popped up announcing him as the preferred choice of presidential candidate for the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for 2020.

The posters, which bear his photo has the inscription, “Sylvester Mensah, our hope for years to come.”

It also describes the former National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) CEO as “our choice for president 2020.”

It is not clear yet where the posters are coming from, but it is worth recalling that on 7 January 2016, the NDC’s La Dade Kotopon Communication Director, Lawrence Lamptey, hinted

Source: citifmonline. com - Finance Minister Seth Terkper has made some proposals to the incoming Nana Akufo-Addo administration to consider setting up a fund to finance the 2020 general elections ahead of time.
According to him, such a move will reduce the financial pressure that government faces in an election year, since election expenditure is financially intensive.

There is a big banner inside the regional secretariat of the party. John Dramani Mahama successfully led the ruling party in the 2012 elections but failed in his second bid in 2016. He lost the December 7, 2016 elections to New Patriotic Party’s Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. 

 
 
The National Democratic Congress is re-strategizing to wrestle power from the New Patriotic Party in the next general elections in 2020. This follows the party’s defeat in the recently held general elections that saw incumbent President, John Mahama of the NDC’s ambition to serve a second term quashed.
