“I am a Catholic and I believe it is a calling from God to be the president of Ghana,” National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer hopeful Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin says his decision to contest the position is a call from God.
He said as a Catholic, he believes God has directed him to lead the party and win power in 2020 to ensure a better life for the people of Ghana. “The people are fed up with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC). They are looking for something different this time around. They have fallen in love with my determination because I have been knocking on their doors for the past 10 years. They are confident that I am the best man to offer them the different leadership they are looking for”.
