Speaking at the one week celebration of the demise of Yaw Asiedu, the party’s election director at the party’s regional office in Cape Coast, Mr. Amissah-Arthur urged supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to allow the death of their regional elections officer end all hostilities in the party.

According to him, though the election defeat was a great shock to the party, “all is not lost yet”.
“When the elections result came in, most of us didn’t understand it until the death of Yaw Asiedu. Most NDC supporters are in doors and saddened to come out,” he said.
He, however, expressed satisfaction at the turnout at the one week celebration of the late Asiedu.
“Though Yaw Asiedu is gone, God will replace Yaw Asiedu with 10 times his type, he worked diligently and we thank God for blessing us with someone like Yaw Asiedu”.
